Sick Kiddo Elderberry Syrup Kit

You will need: 2 Cups of Cold Water• 1/4 to 1/2 Cup Raw, local honey

Instructions: Combine the contents of this packet into a pot with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes until liquid is reduced by half. Remove from heat and cool. Strain then discard the berries/herbs. Add honey and stir to incorporate. Bottle in sterilized glass and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks. Shake well before each use. Take 1-2 teaspoons twice Daily.

Ingredients: Elderberry*(Sambucus nigra), Echinacea*(Echinacea purpurea), Rose hips*(Rosa canina & Rosa rubiginosa), Arrowroot, Cassia Cinnamon*(Cinnamomum burmanni), Ginger Root*(Zingiber officinale), Hawthorn Berries*(Crataegus monogyna), Cardamom pods*, Clove*(Syzygium aromaticum)

Caution: Do not give to infants less than one year old due to honey content. Honey can contain spores of Clostridium botulinum which can cause botulism in infants under 12 months. Substitute organic maple syrup or agave for a vegan/infant-friendly recipe. If pregnant, nursing, suffer from any medical conditions, or taking medication, consult a health care practitioner before use. Stop use if irritation occurs.
