DayTime Expectorant Cough Syrup Kit

Description

You will need: 2 Cups Tart Cherry Juice• 1/4 to 1/2 Cup Raw, Local Honey

Instructions: Combine the contents of this packet into a pot with 2 cups of Tart Cherry Juice. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes until liquid is reduced by half. Remove from heat and cool. Strain then discard the berries/herbs. Add honey and stir to incorporate. Bottle in sterilized glass and refrigerate for up to 8 days. Shake well before each use. Take 1-2 teaspoons 2-3x Daily.

Ingredients: Mullein*(Verbascum thapsus), Elderberry*(Sambucus nigra ), Plantain Leaf (Plantago major), Marshmallow Root*(Althaea officinalis), Horehound*(Marrubium vulgare), Red Clover*(Trifolium pratense), Elderflower*(Sambucus nigra), Arrowroot, Ginger*(Zingiber officinale), Powdered Honey, Cayenne*(Capsicum annuum)

Caution: Do not give to infants less than one year old due to honey content. Honey can contain spores of Clostridium botulinum which can cause botulism in infants under 12 months. Substitute organic maple syrup or agave for a vegan/infant-friendly recipe. If pregnant, nursing, suffer from any medical conditions, or taking medication, consult a health care practitioner before use. Stop use if irritation occurs. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
